Grass-Finished Beef
Our herd consists of South Poll cattle, a 4-way cross between Hereford, Red Angus, Barzona, and Senepol. These cattle have great grass genetics, bred to thrive on pasture. They take a little longer, but will get fat on grass alone – no grain supplementation.
South Poll cattle are a docile breed and are a joy to work with. They tolerate our Kansas heat and produce a tender, flavorful beef. We rotate them to fresh paddocks every 1-2 days, which is good for their health, and restorative to the land as well.
